Real Weddings: Eydie and Doug

Eydie and Doug were married at the fabulous Huntley Hotel in Santa Monica. Although not one of the more widely-hired hotel wedding venues in Santa Monica, the Huntley is a gorgeous and swanky hotel off the main drag of hotels in Santa Monica. It is very close to where I live and we love to take visiting friends and family to the Penthouse restaurant for amazing 360 degree views. As a wedding venue, it is quite chic and classy with beautiful modern and elegant decor.

Eydie carried a bouquet of all “Sahara” roses. These roses are a beautiful creamy-tan-blush-peach color. It’s hard to describe but exquisite when you see it in person!

The bridesmaids carried bouquets of all “Amnesia” roses. These roses are a dusty lavender-grey color. Another different and interesting type of rose. They go well with vintage as well as modern chic floral decor.

The altar area was flanked by two tall lavender arrangements with accents of blue and pink within the flowers. We used a beautiful local variety of antique hydrangea and “amnesia” and “ocean song” roses.

The reception table centerpieces were also all “amnesia” roses in clear glass containers.
